Dear C4SS Supporters,
Content is picking back up at the Center. This week, I’ve submitted 7,125 op-eds to 1,783 publications (all in North America; in addition to amount of content, scope also affects submission numbers).
With less content last week, and all US-centric content this week, it’s our pickup numbers that are down: Only two that I’ve found so far. Massachusetts’s South Coast Today ran David D’Amato’s “Anarchy Not Apathy” on February 22, and his “The Motor of Motown Capitalism” appeared in the Carroll County, Maryland Standard on the same day.
Hey, folks, it happens — a good op-ed relies on authorial passion, and this week it was US domestic topics that got our writers riled up. I’ll get a weekend memo out on “content balance” and see if we can’t get the Center back on the 10,000+ submission, 10+ pickup horse next week. We’re less than 20 pickups away from 500 … and I want to make it by the Ides of March.
Have a great weekend!
Yours in liberty,
Tom Knapp
