I have been late on my reporting duties and I shall remedy that. These are the numbers and a few comments on our April 2016 media presence (I know, it feels like a century ago):
- 17 articles (a slight drop from the 21 in February);
- 36 pickups or citations (2,11 per article on average — down from the 2,5 we had in March);
- Grant Mincy’s piece “Earth Day and Human Liberty” was able to get 4 pickups. One of the most interesting ones was on the Newberry Observer;
- Nick Ford’s writing on the police and prisons has been going places. Metro Atlanta Black, an African-American outlet from (you guessed it) Atlanta, republished his “More Prisons is Not Reform” — a piece that got 4 pickups;
- Rhode Island’s RI Future rather enjoyed Chad Nelson’s “Textron Plays Leading Role in Middle East Carnage,” a piece that managed to get three pickups;
- The Pagosa Daily Post has regularly republished C4SS content as well. In April, they picked up Kevin Carson’s “An Anarchist Take on the Panama Papers” and Nathan Goodman’s “How Clinton Encouraged Obama’s Biggest Blunder.”
That’s it for April. If you like our work, support us through our many available channels and help us spread the word of anarchy! Or just do PayPal, because the button is right here:
