Dear C4SS Supporters,
This week I’ve made 8,329 discrete submissions of C4SS op-eds to a total of 2,832 publications. I’ve added newspapers in Azerbaijan, Bhutan, China (Hong Kong and Macau), the Cook Islands, Fiji, Georgia, Guam, Japan, Laos and the Maldives to my submission lists.
Four pickups:
- Kevin Carson’s “Maintaining a Monopoly: A Nice Trick If You Can Do It,” appeared in Le Quebecois Libre on March 15.
- David D’Amato’s “The Fanciful Idea of Statist ‘Efficiency,'” ran in Seoul, Republic of Korea’s JoongAng Ilbo and the London, Ontario Free Press on March 18.
- The Portland, Oregon Skanner ran “Mr. Obama, Tear Down This Wall,” by Kevin Carson, on March 18.
As you may have noticed, we’ve now been down in the 4-5 “pickup” range, from a high of 10 or more per week, for awhile. We’ve been trying to figure out why and do something about it. I expect to start seeing more “pickups” in the near future as we steer back toward a more international/less US-centric mix of topics and work to get our op-ed word counts into the 600-word range instead of the near-800-word range (800 words really being the realistic top count for an op-ed).
Have a great weekend!
Yours in liberty,
