Dear C4SS Supporters,
OK, yeah, it’s actually the 24th. What can I say? I forgot yesterday was Friday. I had all the information available to do the update, and then got caught up in holiday preparations just forgot to publish it. Soooo …
This week I’ve submitted 10,067 Center op-eds to 2,763 publication on seven continents. Yes, all seven — Mike Gogulski found me a submission address for McMurdo Station’s Antarctic Sun. We’re as global as it gets now.
A little weak on MSM pickups this week — only two, both of Kevin Carson’s “Occupy Doesn’t Have a Platform — it is a Platform.” It appeared in Iowa’s River Cities’ Reader on the 17th, and Florida’s Hernando Today (strangely under my byline — I’ve sent them a correction) on the 20th.
Why so few pickups? My first thought was “holiday slowdown,” but we didn’t do too badly this time last year. Our submissions leaned toward the end of the week this week, so that may have something to do with it.
Have a great weekend, and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (or whatever other holiday you may be celebrating around this time; or if you’re not celebrating, enjoy yourself anyway)!
Yours in liberty,
