Dear C4SS Supporters,
This is actually a two-week update (we had people scattered to the four winds last week due to a US holiday, etc., so it made sense to wrap up later). During this two-week period, I’ve submitted 10,867 Center op-eds to 2,762 publications worldwide, and have noted six “pickups” of Center material:
- On July 2, Florida’s Hernando Today published Kevin Carson’s “The Manufactured Debate Over Obamacare.”
- The Deming, New Mexico Headlight published my own “Render Unto Caesar … er, Kaiser Permanente” on July 2, David D’Amato’s “The Court and the ‘Ring of Capitalists'” on July 8, amd Carson’s “Power Doesn’t Just Attract Mean and Stupid People — it Creates Them” (as “Power breeds society’s ills”) on July 9.
- The Dhaka, Bangladesh New Nation published David’s “How About Some Real ‘Austerity?'” on July 3, and his “IP Monopolism as ‘free enterprise'” (as “IP monopolism or exploitation?”) on July 4.
A fairly slow two weeks on both content flow and pickups, but still three per week. We’re on track to hit 600 pickups by the end of summer. Have a great weekend!
Yours in liberty,
Tom Knapp
