Dear C4SS Supporters,
I apologize for the tardiness of this update — I thought I had posted it, but hadn’t! So I’m doing it now, including only material through Friday, May 18th, when it should have been published.
During the week ending May 18th, I submitted 6,325 Center op-eds to 2,763 publications worldwide. I’ve identified four “pickups” of that material, and two prominent media mentions of C4SS.
- On May 2 (it only turned up in search engines later), the University of New Mexico Daily Lobo published David D’Amato’s “Musings on May Day” as “Market anarchy best serves human nature.”
- On May 12, Iowa’s River Cities’ Reader published Kevin Carson’s “Shikha Dalmia: Half-Right on ‘Right to Work.'”
- The Deming, New Mexico Headlight ran David D’Amato’s “Don’t Worry About Occupy” on May 16.
- On May 18, the St. Joseph, Missouri Telegraph ran my own “Marriage: Politics vs. Society” [PDF].
The mentions I mention both occurred on the popular Op-Ed News web site. Joe Gambrione cites C4SS in “The Anarchist Delusion” (May 9) and “Delusional Anarchists, part two” (May 16). As you might guess from the titles, Gambrione takes exception to our ideas. Check out his pieces and weigh the arguments for yourselves!
Yours in liberty,
