Dear C4SS Supporters,
This week I’ve submitted 7,307 Center op-eds to 2,761 publications worldwide, and have so far found three pickups of those pieces. Yes, those numbers are a little lower than usual — our content arrived toward the end of the week, meaning less time to submit (there are limits to my email capacity) and less time for papers to run the stories. Hopefully there’ll be some carryover that boosts next week’s numbers!
The pickups:
- The Orangeburg, South Carolina Times and Democrat ran my piece, “The State Fails Trayvon and Zimmerman,” on April 9 (our first appearance in that fine paper!).
- “Syria: Let’s You and Him Fight” appeared in Counterpunch yesterday (as “Syria and the Usual Suspects”) and in the Sri Lanka Guardian (as “Other People’s Blood” — our first pickup in Sri Lanka!).
I expect submissions to be up next week (I’ve already got one op-ed awaiting publication and distribution), and hopefully pickups as well. Have a great weekend, and Support the Center!
Yours in liberty,
Tom Knapp
