Dear C4SS supporters,

Ten “pickups” of C4SS commentaries this week:

• David D’Amato’s “The People’s Republic of Crony Capitalism” appeared in the Seoul, Republic of Korea Times, Seoul’s JoonAng Ilbo, Yahoo! Korea, and the Baltic region’s Sagittarius News & Style Magazine.
• Darian Worden’s “Somalia: New Players, Same Problems” was picked up by Sagittarius, the Louisiana Tech University Tech Talk, the Woodstock, Ontario Sentinel-Review, and JoonAng Ilbo.
• David D’Amato’s “Sudan and the Democracy of the Market” ran in JoonAng Ilbo.
• David D’Amato’s “No Work for the Weary” ran in Urban Tulsa Weekly.

This week I submitted 6,474 pieces of C4SS commentary to 2,791 newspapers — as many different titles as usual, but some pieces to fewer papers in order to get caught up with our on-site publishing schedule while not filling editors’ inboxes with multiple daily submissions.
