Here you can customize and create your own version of the C4SS News Widget to insert into your own website. The widget has been tested successfully under MSIE 6, 7, 8 and 9; Firefox 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 3.6 and 4.0beta2; Opera 9 and 10; Google Chrome 6 and Safari 5. Original Flash version

Now you can add the C4SS News Widget to your own website.

Just copy the HTML code below and insert it into your web page or template. The widget is 160 pixels wide by 350 pixels tall, and requires Flash. You can pass in a single parameter to set the maximum length of the article excerpt (default 90). To do this, after each of the four instances of “lzproxied=false”, add the query parameter “&l=” followed by an integer.

The widget was developed using OpenLaszlo to create the Flash object and Paint.net for the graphics. Source code and graphical elements are available; contact mike at gogulski dot com.
