A compelling case for a stateless society.
Anarchy happens when people organize their lives peacefully and voluntarily— without the aggressive violence of the state. This simple but powerful book explains why the state is illegitimate, unnecessary, and dangerous, and what we can do to begin achieving real freedom. Paperback, 129 pages.

They're not actually taking pre-orders, apparently. The site refuses to let me check out, saying they don't have any copies in stock.
Wow! Already? How great is that?
My recent post TGIF- Theres Got to Be a Better Way
is this going to be put out in EPub?
Brad: thanks a lot for posting this.
Kenneth: I think the pre-order problem has been fixed.
FRAM: I'm guessing so, but I'm not sure on the time-line.
Sheldon: how great? Just amazingly great, that's how great!

Warning for anyone stumbling from google onto this, the author isn't advocating anarchism, but anarcho-capitalism (which is not a form of anarchism, but stateless capitalism).
Just making sure people understand the use of the term "anarchism" is unorthodox (anarchists, of course, oppose capitalism and other authoritarian tendencies.).
Not sure how these guys propose their capitalism will work without a state. Magic I guess.
Shayne, huh? Gary Chartier is not a capitalist.
Shayne, have you actually read the book? I have tried to be very scrupulous in avoiding arguments in the book about what kind of economic arrangements ought to obtain after the state's demise. I argue that a thousand flowers ought to bloom. The book is devoted to explaining what's wrong with the state, not to defending any particular economic system (or to critiquing any particular economic system–other than one dominated by the state). And I'm on record, including on this site, as endorsing anti-capitalism.
