		<description>Doctors as a society use the state to protect their monopoly.  Unless the AMA does something to alienate a large portion of its membership, causing a rump group to form a competing society (say, foreign born physicians), this is merely self-governance with state approbation - not the heavy hand of the state in its drive for power.</description>
