The Masses are asses. Organize as affinity groups, communities, and federations. If you're expecting complete strangers to 'get' whatever you're talking about, either no one will listen or it'll be another disaster. Provide the framework for people to self-liberate, *after which* they can 'join'. Cooperation is only possible between people who consider each other equals.

The enthusiasm of free-market types for Hong Kong is puzzling; they never mention the fact that all land there is owned by the government (pre- as well as post-transition).

Does anyone know if the 2010 FreedomFest debate is online anywhere? I couldn't find it. Somewhat related link: During FreedomFest 2009, Doug Casey and Tom Woods appeared on McCuistion to discuss "Is Limited Government an Oxymoron?".

That the present regime will sooner or later will collapse is a given. The question is, what will happen after the collapse? As Mr. Litz points out, educating the public is crucial.

* Converting garden variety libertarians into anarchists is a worthy goal.

* Spreading disaffection, and knowledge of libertarian solutions, among the population is another part.

All this may seem like the labors of Sisyphus, but there is no other way.
