Curious to know what connection Mike has to Bradley Manning/how they met/why he's helping etc. Am considering volunteering to help Mike G. but suffer from an overabundance of caution/would like to make sure Mike has been thoroughly vetted. That being said: Is there any way Bradley can have this tried in a civilian court with civilian lawyers? Had similar job / clearances / same attack of conscience but no wikileaks in my day. Curious to know Bradley's actual military job too – did he enlist for this job, or was he in a feeder job where you had to complete x years in x field before you could transfer in to the job where the alleged leaking came from. Much of this appears very questionable…Dept of Army (NSA) investigator types can be pretty scary. Good luck!
Not that I'm anyone but I absolutely vouch for Mike Gogulski and I know dozens of others who would, as well. I have given him personal passwords and such in the past without incident (other than him helping me out on stuff… For free.)
@Dean – I'm working on the Bradley Manning campaign and they have need for more volunteers in a wide range of subjects. You can visit the website and check out the about us section to get a sense of what the goals are, answer several of your questions, etc. http://www.bradleymanning.org
Also, all the fundraising being done is through Courage to Resist, which is a legit nonprofit that has been around for years.
