So instead you find alot of them going AWOL or trying to get themselves hurt or even claiming mental health issues. Even with this the military still tries to keep them for as long as they can. Even if they have a legit reason to get out they still will delay the paper work to get through at times they will make you wait months for it.

The "Stop Loss" issue is a new low for the military to keep people from leaving. For a soldier to go on duty and fight a war 3 or 4 times is enough that most of these people will come back with mental issues that the VA will most likely not cover due to "cuts in service".

Will there ever be a draft? The i see this country jumping from one fiasco into another i think they will begin a draft again. It just will not be called a "Draft" anymore but something else to throw off the scent dogs.
