Scheiffer is a 'Washington Correspondent" – his whole 'schtick' is giving (mostly metaphorical) blowjobs to the powerful… as such his Sarkozy-esque hagiography of the self-glorification of "l'état" should come as no surprise.

Once these people are exposd as degenerate (with their degeneracy manifesting itself via a particularly sadistic form of homosexual paedophilia) the necessary blood-letting can be gotten over with and we can, to coin a Blairite/Obamaniac phrase, 'move forward'.

The Climate phonies never thought they would get ratted out, and the HomIntern thinks the same thing (mutually-assured destruction being their fave tool – honeypots and all that); but the necessary evidence will reach daylight (as it very nearly did in the Jeff Gannon affair, and the GHWB paedophile-escorts-at-the-White-House thing form the 80s).

PS – no offence intended to the ordinary homosexual man-in-the-street: I have no objection to homosexuality per se – the Blair/Bush/Cheney/Keynes/Churchill version was and is an OUTLET for sadistic degeneracy, not evidence of 'ordinary' homosexuality – in the same way as prison rapists are usually heterosexual.

“State dinners are part of the symbols of our democracy”

Ironically, state dinners are lavish ceremonies that only the powerful and well-connected can get invited to. Bob Schieffer is objecting to uninvited people sitting at the table of power because doing so insults the symbolism of “our democracy”.
